Hello My name is Joy Light and I have been on this list for several months just lurking and enjoying the information, thought it was time to post my interests. My maiden name was DUNBABIN. I am trying to find out more about my fathers early life. He was born in Korumburra in 1918 and in approx. 1939 he married an Isle Myrtle HOLMES. Had 3 children, Dawn b 1941, Joy Patricia who was born in approx. Feb. 1941, but who died aged 6 weeks in March 1943 and Cheryl who was born in approx. 1945. Cheryl was known as Robyn. Dad and his family attended school in Korumburra so I was wondering if there are any indexes perhaps of school records for the Korumburra area. James father was Frederick DUNBABIN who was one of 11 children, born to John DUNBABIN and Amelia ALLEN. It does appear that only Frederick DUNBABIN was the only child that was registered at birth. I have found all the others by marriages and deaths. Hoping these names ring a bell. Cheers Joy
