Lauris, Thanks a million for your message. Know that I know what school they attended I can check at Laverton as I don't live all that far from there. I have been meaning to go there for a few weeks, now I have the perfect excuse. And YES please I would love you to ask your aunt. Any information you can find for me would be wonderful. My father didn't keep in touch for years with his family after his first marriage failed. He ran off with my mother which would have caused quite a stir I would imagine in about 1946'ish. So I am only now trying to piece together his early life. I am in touch with a cousin, but her father was one of the youngest in the family and my dad was 2nd oldest with about 17 years in between. And seeing as Dad was only 20 when he married my uncle doesn't know much about Dads life. So thank you very much for your kind offer. I really appreciate it. Joy
