Lily's Leaf is between the South Gippsland Highway and Tarraville. I know the doctor had a home there because I lived in it for the early part of my life. If anyone can help me I would appreciate Margaret ============================================================ I have seen reference to Elizabeth Ann Lawler (1858-1949) being born at Tarraville and living for some years at the Lillies Leaf Hotel, run by her stepbrother James Francis. She later trained as a nurse (going from Gippsland to Melbourne to train in her thirties) and coming back to Yarram to opne a hospital. Altogether, she assisted at the birth of 3,100 babies. So there is another medical connection to Lillies Leaf. Further details are in Gippsland Heritage Journal Vol3, no.1 p54.
