    3. Lorraine Key, In my message I neglected to mention that the PRO is moving from Laverton to North Melbourne. For Information about obtaining records, see their website - www.prov.vic.gov.au Re land parish maps - I should point out that it is sometimes difficult to find out the locations of parishes, and the boundaries sometimes undergo change. The annual publication "Municipal Directories of Victoria" should be consulted. The name of the parish is not always the same as the name of the town. My impression is that the Warragul area north of the railway line comprises the Parish of Drouin East. To the east of that is the Parish of Darnum, extending to about Shady Creek. Further east again is the parish of Yarragon which includes the Trafalgar - Moe Swamp. The Warragul area south of the railway line comprises the Parish of Warragul, extending to Yarragon. The Parish of Moe comprises the districts of Trafalgar South, Moe South, Thorpdale and Thopdale South, including the upper Narracan Creek. The parish of Narracan comprised the area between McDonalds Track and the Morwell River, extending to the Latrobe River and part of Moe township.. The Lillico - Nilma North book I mentioned includes copies of photos of a number of Nilma North school groups which include children named CLARK - for example, Allie and Pat Clark in 1930 and 1932. Also, the Honor Roll for the 1st World War includes the name N. Clark. There are a number of references in the book to families named CLARKE (with an "e"). I failed to find entries for your CLARKs in the indexes of the following books - "Victoria and its Metropolis", Volume 2 (1888). "Forests Old Pastures New - a History of Warragul", by Sally Wilde (1949). I also had a cursory look through "Warragul - Progress through a Century" by Warragul and District Historical Society (1982, unindexed). What were the names of some of the children of your T.J. and/or G.M. Clark? I once knew a Harley CLARK of Warragul. Walter Savige
