    3. Copies of the Moe Star are held at the State Library, unfortunately not all are available to be looked at as some are in very bad state. The Trafalgar and District Historical Society hold hard copies of the Trafalgar News, some editions of the Trafalgar Yarragon and Moe Swamp Advocate, Trafalgar and Yarragon Times, Gippsland Times, Trafalgar News, Narracan Shire Advocate, Trafalgar Yarragon & Yallourn News, Yarragon Trafalgar and Moe Settlement News. In 1996 these were available for research, I am presuming that is still the case. Some are very fragile, so much care is necessary, but they are a mine of information and date back to the late 1800's up to the late 1980's. The Gippsland Studies unit at Monash, Churchill has microfilms of some papers. The Warragul Historical Society holds copies of the Trafalgar & Yarragon Express, West Gippsland Express, Warragul Gazette and the Warragul Guardian. Thought this might help people find options with their research. Regards Bernie G.
