Linda I, for one, will be disappointed with the change. While, so far, not having had a great deal of success in advancing my research interests, I have learnt a lot from being exposed to the queries of others and the subsequent replies to the list - many of these latter extend knowledge of the original query quite extensively (e.g. 'B' Station). Many of the exchanges have been extremely interesting and, when collated into a single document (rabbits and pademelons were two examples) have provided a great deal of pleasure for myself and spouse - who is not at all computer literate but interested.
