I would be up there like a shot with tape recorder in hand. Alice who married David Nolan was my maternal g grandmother. Their daughter Mary Ada, married Thomas John McHenry. One of their daughters was Mary Irene McHenry who was my mother. I am really hard up for any oral history. I think it is the best kind, but I am an only child, both my parents are dead, and do are all Mum's family (long ago). I never knew my grandmother Mary Ada. She died in 1935 before I was born. That is why I am trying to get hold of thee 'little book about the SIMS Family'. I thought it might be an informal family history type book. Thanks for your information, but I think it would be a bit cheeky of me to write, especially when you say that Beatrice is nearly blind. Someone would have to write letters for her, and all hospitals and homes are short staffed these days. - EX GIPPSLAND,VICTORIA, NOW GOLD COAST, QUEENSLAND Searching for:REES,LEYSHON-Wales.
