    3. Hello Listers, I have been given several pages of information re my Flynn family [all of which tallies with my own research ] from a new found cousin, [origin of info unknown]. One piece, however is new to me and I would like to know if any list member has heard of the Contract Shipping Scheme mentioned in the following :- John Flynn sailed from Liverpool at 7am on the 27-9-1866 on the "Royal Standard", and arrived in Melbourne on 14-12-1866. He was aged 23 years and came as a Warrant Passenger. Warrant Holders embarked under a Contract made between the Government of Victoria and Messrs Lorrimer, Marwo0d and Rome, of the Colony. Warrant dated 1-6-1866 - no.1423. Would appreciate any clues as to where I could follow up this interesting piece, as I have not been able to pin point who is my John Flynn on the several I have found on shipping records. I find this list very interesting. Patricia
