Fellow Gippsland Listers, Although I have not been fortunate enough to have had a response to any enquiry regarding my (Matthews) family through this list, I still find it a most useful resource. A small suggestion I believe can further improve the system, particularly for "digest" subscribers, who don't want to read every word, and that is that a little more attention needs to given to ascribing a meaningful "subject heading" to postings. There is only space for about two words to be shown in the attachment "icon", but with a little thought, much valuable reading time can be saved, as it can also by avoiding sending "one liners" to another lister, regarding a specific, rather than a general interest subject.
