Hi List, In passing, it has occurred to me that there might be someone out there interested in "Adopting" a shire, to put details up on the AVG Web page. I am maintaining Wellington and East Gippsland, but don't have the knowledge to do any of the other shires. It could even just start with a list of the places that are in that shire. So I REFUSE to post any details about the CGS garden history conference on the last Saturday in October, at Churchill. She is going to have to come on line and do it herself. But the good news is that Wellington Shire is in the process of commissioning a full bibliography of historical works (published and unpublished) for the Wellington Shire, from the Centre for Gippsland Studies. It will hopefully be published at some time in the future on the net.
