Good Evening All, Sometime ago I purchased 'Shire of Rosedale Centenary 1871-1971' at a second hand book shop. As it does not have an index and as I am temporarily "confined to barracks", with an ill partner, I have indexed it. At this stage I have only indexed names, but if there is a particular place, I'll see if I can find that too. Included in the book is a list of those who attended a 'Back To' in 1929, a list of the 1971 residents, street by street, photos and names of the school students in 1971. There are quite a few photos in the book as well. I have found the book interesting, as I travelled through Rosedale many times, to school at Sale in the 60's, and to visit my parents after they retired to Bairnsdale, but had no idea about the early History. By the way I was looking for information re O"MEARA, there is only one mentioned William O'Meara, who was a Councillor for the Toongabbie Riding from 1881-87.
