*groan* Gerry Kennedy (bloke from Traralgon, theatre historian), wrote "The Prince Regent Theatre, Sale: Gippsland's Picture Palace" in Gippsland Heritage Journal No.13 (1992). I know of no stand-alone history for it. He may have written in a theatre history mag, and used the word "tin can" in it. I think it had a wonderful pressed tin roof. There is a germ of truth there - at least Gerry comes from Traralgon.
