I am researching some early fishing/fishermen on the gippsland lakes. I am interested in finding out more on William Bott who in 1892 described himself as a fishermen from Dutson. He had fished Lake Wellington since 1886, but had fished (elsewhere) since 1880. I would like to know where he came from before arriving in Gippsland. He was still fishing in 1908, but after that I think he may have become a boatbuilder in Sale. I know he has descendants in Gippsland and am hoping someone may be able to give me more biographical info. Thanks Coral Dow
