There is a flat on the Mitchell River at Glenaladale (western bank) known as Lambert's Flat. I have just tried to find it on the parish map, but I THINK it is Parish of Glenaladale, which I don't have. It is just above the Final Fling set of rapids (lovely name, last rapid on the Mitchell for kayakers before the river gets all peaceful). So, were any of these Lamberts known to be on the Mitchell River above Lindenow???
