I have three gt.gt. grandparents buried in Walhalla, namely: Charles MARSH d 5th Jan. 1877 aged 40. He fell down a Mine shaft and was killed. William ROGERS d 17 Apr 1899 aged 45. Elizabeth Anne ROGERS d 1 Sep 1898 aged 43. The latter two were husband and wife (Cornish ) The questions I want to ask are: 1. How would I find out if these graves still exist - short of taking a pilgrimage to see.(Not possible at the moment) 2. Many years ago my grandmother went to Walhalla and found that Charles MARSH had been the Bandmaster before his death, and that there was a photo of him in the Rotunda. If someone still lives in the area, is there a chance of finding out if a photo might still exist in some local archives? 3. There was an enquiry in to Charles MARSH's death on the following day. Would these records still exist, and if so - where? 4. There may be two children buried with the ROGERS, as I have no way of knowing if these two were born in Walhalla, or were born in California where William and Elizabeth were married, and my gt. grandmother was born. Thanks for bearing with me. All suggestions gratefully received. Lesley
