Hi Linda I have a Patrick Donoghue in my brother-in-laws family who was living and farming at Lindenow prior to his marriage in 1898. He arrived in Australia around 1888 and I believe went straight to Gippsland. He married Mary Elizabeth Deery (b. Bairnsdale but living in Bengworden) and together they had five children in the district at Coongulmerang until 1906 and they moved to Nambrok and had another five children. I would welcome any reference to this family if you come across them. As I continue my research into the family I will also keep in mind anything I find for the area and forward it onto you.
