Hi Kim, Thank you very much for the Rogers' information, which is just what I needed re: Matthew and Catherine Eliza. They were listed as just 'dead' on their parents death certs. On William's death cert., the little girl was Catherine, and on Elizabeth's, the little girl was called Eliza. It is also anecdotal in our family that people were buried standing up because of the steepness of the cemetry, so there must be something in it. I am posting this to the list as well, because of this unique burial custom! Thanks again for the info. Lesley
