I have the Walhalla Cemetery (Headstone) Transcriptions, which I've just checked. There's nothing for MARSH and the only ROGERS recorded is a Kate ROGERS who died in 1901 aged 61 years. > >3. There was an enquiry in to Charles MARSH's death on the following day. > >Would these records still exist, and if so - where? > > Inquest records are available through the Public Record Office of Victoria, > but I THINK they are in the throes of moving them. Does anyone know??? The majority of records are still at Laverton, but are available for inspection (with a couple of days' notice) at Casseldon Place in the city. I will be doing some research there next week and could try to access and organise a copy of the inquest for you, Lesley. Cheers, Victoria. ************************************************************ Victoria Dunlop Richmond, Victoria, Australia E-mail: victoriad@ozemail.com.au Dead Dunny Website: http://www.ozemail.com.au/~victoriad/ ************************************************************
