Hello All, This is my first time on this list. I am searching for any information on the family of Lewis Perrine Green and his wife, Sarah Jane (Morrison) Green. They were living in Woods Point in May 1868, when their second daughter, Florence was born and still in Miller Street, Woods Point in 1869. Their children were: Henry, David, Frank, Emily and Florence. Lewis Green was classified as a miner on Florence's birth certificate. However other certificates have him as a sawyer, mine manager, storekeeper, miner and speculator. He spent his working life in the goldfields, having sailed to Australia from New Jersey U.S. in abt. 1850. Any information at all that may help me find Lewis Perrine Green and/or any record of his life in Woods Point would be very much appreciated. All the family moved to Melbourne at some later time after Henry and Frank joined the PMG, except Lewis. No record anywhere in Victoria of his death. Help please!! Robyn Clarke N.S.W.
