Aileen, I do not recall your original message but the name TREW rang a bell so I checked my records and found an Louisa Anne, born Avoca who married Frederick PALMER in 1886, possibly somewhere in the shire of Bass. They died within a year of each other in Dandenong around 1943/44. Frederick would have been my great-uncle. Do you think there is some connection to your TREW family? I think Harold TREW may be Harry's nephew as Harry was 70 something in 1954 . The BDM's have a Harold born 1905 or so . And Harry was born 1879 . I think this may just be one of those things I will never know , but there has to be a reason for a person to move from one side of the state to the other . > Regards > Aileen Travis > > >==== AUS-VIC-GIPPSLAND Mailing List ==== >In general, the more information you post about a family, the more information you will get back - you need at least to say where in Gippsland the family came from, and give an idea of dates. >
