Hello list, Just thought I'd like to say "well done!" to the Listowner and Deputy for their transcriptions of the war memorials, and for getting them up on the home page. I went to a presentation of The Broken Years at the Australian War Memorial last Saturday. Very moving. Made me realise how important it is to acknowledge and cherish the stories of the ordinary Australians who endured war. By the way, the War Memorial site at www.awm.gov.au now has a searchable nominal roll for WW1, as well as the Boer War nominal roll, on line. Cheers, Kathy
