Hi Listers I am trying to find descendants of Richard Hicks Baker and Catherine O'Hearn (Ahern) Married 6 Sept 1875 Grant. Children born were Albert Born Grant 1877 Mary Ellen Born Grant 15 Sept 1879 (Croocked River). Mary Ellen is listed as Mary Ellen Hicks on her Birth certificate, so I am looking for Hicks or Hicks Baker, or Baker. Also acn anyone tell me if records of children put in the Sutherland Childrens Home are available anywhere, as our Mary Ellen possibly as listed above was placed there in about 1884.
