Just want to say what a fantastic effort has gone into the Gippsland times Heritage Edition - Wellington Region - Our History. Lots of well researched articles on just about all aspects of local history by well known historians gave me at least three hours of reading over the New Year. It's obvious that much time and planning has gone into the paper, only pity is it's not a book but a newspaper and so more likely to be used to wrap the vegie peelings. (My copy is going into the library of Mornington Peninsula FHS). Well done to all concerned.
