Hello Pam Indeed, there was a watchmaker/ jeweller, A W Bennett in Raymond Street Sale. He was also the man who wound the post office clock. He had his shop in Raymond Street. Don't know anything more of him, however there are some Gippsland Times references to him: 2/11/1886 12/4/1894 26/7/1894.
