Is there any information on JOHN WILLIAMS who, rumour has it, practiced as a 'doctor' in WARRAGUL between 1880 and 1901? Although his occupation on earlier documents had been given as a splitter and a farmer, his death certificate mentioned his occupation as a doctor. A doctor of what? Medicine? Timber? Coming from the goldfields in Bendigo and being illiterate, his abilities as a Medical 'doctor' may have been limited to ripping out a tooth or setting a broken limb. More likely to be in the timber industry. Can anyone help? Really enjoying being on this list so far, Julie from Cairns
