On the subject of honour rolls...does anyone know if the honour roll from the Ryton hall survives anywhere? Ryton was near Gunyah. The Hall was unlocked and genearlly uncared for after the the selectors abandoned their farms. In the 1970s the hall still had a 'mechanics library' in a cupboard, a piano and a honour roll. The hall was surrounded by european trees planted on arbour day round the time of the first world war. The hall was burnt down in the late 70s or early 80s i think.
