    3. Dear Listers, I am doing some research for Ann Little in USA - names- O'Rourke and Curran. I now know that John O'Rourke spent 12 months in Western Australia prior to marrying in 1907 to Catherine Curran. We are not sure how Catherin came or when or from where but presume Ireland to USA then Australia. I know that the PRO has shipping records - do they include entry to WA? Where should I search for these? Many thanks in advance, Ann Burnell

I took a look at it, and have now added some burial listings that I jotted down from the Boulder Cemetery in Western Australia. It has cemetery listings from all over the world, and has a wonderful search engine. If anyone has ever written down info from cemeteries over the years, this is a great place to post it. It is a fantastic genealogy resource for everyone. So if you haven't already checked it out, take a look now:-) Julie Clift nee: RENTON Western Australia ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ (Parents:) RENTON Thomas Daniel b. 1. [AVG] Additions to AVG Home Page
    2. Linda Barraclough
    3. Hi List, Just to let you know the "Lookups Available" page is now up and running on the AVG Home page at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~surreal/AVG/ Thanks to all who volunteered. More volunteers are always welcome, especially for those who can look at specific Gippsland records. The general idea is that they should mainly be records within reach of your computer - this is not intended for people to get access to, for example, family history group libraries that usually carry out research at a fee. They need those fees to buy new records!!! However if you have something at home that you can check without too much bother, and are preprared to let it be known that you will do lookups, that is great. There is also now provision for a calendar on the home page - will add something to that soon. But this is for any meetings you wish to advertise that have guest speakers that may interest people, seminars, workshops etc. The further ahead they are advertised, the better. You never know who is visiting and may take the opportunity to call in. Just e-mail me off-list, and it will be added. Or send a message about what's on to the whole list, and it can be added from there. Cheers Linda Barraclough Briagolong List Owner: AUS-VIC-GIPPSLAND email: kapana@netspace.net.au http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~surreal/AVG/
