    3. I and another Geelong Family History Group member have almost finished writing up all inquests found in the Geelong Advertiser for the 1860's. If you have an ancestor whose death involved an inquest, we would be delighted to hear from you to perhaps 'add meat to the bones' so to speak of some historical family background to the deceased etc. These inquests will be complied into our 3rd Inquest book, in 2004.regards, Pam Jennings (co-compiler)

    3. G'day Pam I have just recently found that one of my ancestors, Margaret Donoghue, died on the 12th December 1843 as a result of an accident in a dray. Her inquest was heard by Foster Fyans who was the acting Coroner at that time. Does your research include this period of time? 3. Hi, Pam. I don't suppose by any chance you came across a John Martin O'Shannassy (spelt any way, and with or without the O) in your inquest travels? I am having enormous trouble with this family, and have searched everywhere for his death. I am now looking for long shots. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
