I am attempting to research the life of Henry Aaron Smith who was one of the original Batesford Village Settlers and became Postmaster in the mid 1850's. I am aware of the book references which were most helpful. If anyone can add even by way of anecdotal information it would be appreciated. In particular does anyone know in what decade Henry's timber Triple Gabled Home and store was demolished. Thanks - Alan Smith.
