Hi List I was reviewing my papers today and I found that I have a remote link to Geelong. My ancestors Charles James Bullivant had nine children including Julia Ellen Bullivant born Sydney 1824. In 1843 she married George Isaac Wyer in Sydney. In one of Charles James Bullivant's land transactions in Sydney in 1871 mention is made of George Wyer now of Sydney lately of Geelong. This is the only son of George Isaac Wyer and Julie Ellen Bullivant born 1843 in Sydney. It also says that George senior was lately of Melbourne and died there in 1860 and Julia died in Melbourne in 1870. Has anyone heard of George Wyer of Geelong pre 1871? Grahame Thom
