Looking on a map of Castlemaine you will find Little Bendigo. Close by is the Loddon Prision and is not far from the Hisoric Pennywieght Flat Cemetery. I am looking at the latest CFA map book of the area. Hi Folks, It's always important to beware of more than one place bearing the name Little Bendigo! The official Australian Place Names database actually shows three entries for Little Bendigo in Victoria at two different (but not too distant) locations ....... Little Bendigo (town / location) is near Castlemaine. Little Bendigo Creek and Little Bendigo Primary School are just near Ballarat. If there was a school, presumably there also used to be a town / location / settlement!
