Ada Coas Pumphrey School Teacher began her fourty year teaching career 3rd October 1893 at Balmoral.She retired from North Geelong Primary School in 1937,and died at Araraton the 18th June1974 aged 98 years. She was buried at Woorndoo Cemetery. She has been described " most meticulous"; her diaries which covered 40 years bearing this out. Thought this may be worthy. Margaret Stickland
