Hello Ada I really meant to answer privately as I don't think the subject would be elligable for Geelong mailing list. I have a research letter from a man in USA who said John Edward Mercer Ewart Clark Leask ( boy I think if we found him we'd know him ) was born 13 Jan 1907 in Geelong. On the birth cert it said his father was James Leask & mother Margaret. Father was a vicar in Williamstown. This is where you come in. He is also looking for the birth of Henry Leask 30 June 1913. We don't have this. Why would a son be born in Geelong when they lived in Williamstown? I suppose it could happen. He said he thinks they ended up in Russia. Bad times to be going there. He said he is willing to pay as he told me in previous contact by email. I could foreward the letter he sent me if you'd like to take over. He thinks he was C/E. His email is John H.
