Thankyou Susie Zada for the information on James Harrison. My ancestor was Jane Ross, who died in 1922 at the Haimes Memorial Home. Janes father was Francis Ross who came out to Geelong in 1850 to work as a Journalist on the Geelong Advertiser. According to Janes Obituary, she worked for 50 years for the Mountjoy family. Francis was obviously an alcoholic & deserted his family after about 5years. I wonder if James Harrison looked after them & had the honory title of "Uncle".
