Can anybody tell me where the town of Soldiers Flat is or was, I can't find it on my maps & also Briar Rose Cemetery? Regards Paulette

There is a soldiers flat listed near Ballaraat this site has many old names listed. http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~surreal/victowns/index.html The only Briar Rose cemetary that came up was in Franklington LA(Los angeles I assume) USA. I used Yahoo advanced search to look for both links. I find it well worth using occassionally as you can find all sorts of information.
