Hello, After the last information I am received, I am feeling like a bloodhound on the track... When Friedrich Kawerau arrived in 1849 in Melbourne he came with HIS WIFE Maria and HIS BROTHER Carl Theodor!!! In 1849 was Maria Kawerau nee ??? 21 years old. In 1869 left Friedrich Kawerau Australia without Maria. I think that Maria died in Australia. Is there any possibility to find her deathrecords? In 1849 was Carl Theodor Kawerau 27 years old (b. 1822 in Bunzlau/Schlesien). He died in Australia, too. On Google was only one information about him. That page mentioned him as brother of Friedrich Kawerau. Carl Theodor died on 14. September 1904, but not in Ballarat/Victoria, where he has wrote his will. In this will Carl Theodor have mentioned the following person: - Minni Thiadoor (?) nee King of Brisbane - Mary (!) widow of Waldemar Kawerau (Waldemar was a brother of my gg-grandmother and has lived in Magdeburg/Prussia) - Henry Charles Herbert of Ballarat and some other person who are mentioned as relatives in Europe.
