    3. Hi Alison, According to "James Harrison: Pioneering Genius" by W.R. (Roy) Lang ... Married Eliza RYAN of York Street, Sydney - date unknown, daughter Jane Eliza born 13 March 1840. She probably didn't go to Geelong with James and died at her father's residence in York Street, Sydney on 13 June 1842. Their daughter Jane Eliza was possibly raised in Sydney but married Laurence BYRNE of Sydney at St Mary's RC Church Geelong on 12 November 1859. Married Susan RILEY aged 16 at St Mary's RC Church Geelong on 12 October 1846. Three children, William (1847-?), Mary (1850-1925) married Major GARBUTT, and Susan Emma (1852-54). Mrs Susan HARRISON died at sea on the Prince of the Seas on 29 November 1856 when returning from England and was buried 14 December in Geelong. Married Emma PAYNE aged 25 at John Knox's Presbyterian Church North Melbourne on 21 July 1862. Eight children, first five born in Geelong or Melbourne and last three in England. You don't mention the name of your ancestor so I don't know if she's listed in this book. Hope that helps .......
