We LEIGHs were always told that my grandfather Henry Leigh carted stone from McCann's quarry in Ceres "with Henry Lacy" in 1860-61, to build his father's home, "Prospect". I know nothing more of Henry Lacy. As I've just found that a Henry Lacy was a neighbour and ancestor of the Leighs in Branscombe, East Devon, in 1506, I wondered if there's someone out there to exchange stories with.
