    1. [GEELONG] Quadrille Office - Mapping office?
    2. Hello listers, In an earlier message I asked if anyone had heard of a Quadrille Office in Geelong in 1858. The list was particularly quiet on this one so I googled and came up with the idea that it may have been a government mapping office. This idea was based on the fact that there is still available quadrille graph paper which can be used in mapping (and because I have absolutely no other ideas!). Is there some kind soul who could look up directories for the period and see if there was a mapping office listed, or any other government office in Malop St East? With thanks, -- Jenny Coates (Boyer) Harkaway, Victoria
