If I'd looked at my notes carefully, I would have seen that I had found a great deal of correspondence of the Attorney General, 1851 to 1858 for which no index or register had survived! e.g.VPRS 266/ P0 Attorney General for example: Unit 1115 Ararat & Cathcart 1856-1858 & Avoca 1854-1858 Unit 1116 Ballarat Unit 1121 Geelong Leigh Lexton (I did not record dates) Unit 1 mostly Sale 1852-58 And many more boxes sorted into communities.
