    3. sorry Susie I will try to get more information on Tuckfield, it is mentioned in old letters, and the person who has them will not let me take them to photo copy, am trying to get her to photocopy them. There is a photo of Frederick Allen in an army uniform, Tuckfield is also mentioned on the back. I can only guess the age as Frederick Allen married in 1845 in Geelong, the letters had references from the time he was married. I am interested in Tuckfield cemetery, as I am looking for children of Frederick's that donot seem to be in any early records. 3. Hi Caroline, Sorry - my message on the Tuckfield cemetery wasn't clear enough ..... Tuckfield Cemetery appears to be Drysdale Cemetery ........ the town Drysdale was actually called Tuckfield for some years. I'm a bit puzzled with the references to Tuckfield, photos and army uniforms. I really think the photos must be much later than 1850s - possibly far too early for photo? Are you talking about the Rev. Francis Tuckfield? I have a vague feeling that he died in the 1860s. Of there are plenty of other Tuckfields but the early Tuckfield Church and Parsonage at Drysdale definitely relate to the Rev. Francis. Have you contact the Geelong Cemeteries Trust about the burials you can't find? Or checked the Geelong Advertiser Indexes? This is definitely where I'd be looking. Regards ......
