Deakin do have Aboriginal collection. The collection is from Lou Lane, who collected many interesting objects and articles and also wrote a lot about the local tribes. The Heritage Centre has some of her written collection but I don't think it is as extensive as Deakin's. Heather Cox who used to be the Special Collections Librarian worked with Lou a lot.
