The heritage centre for County Westmeath is Dun na Si, at Moat. They have the parish records for Westmeath on computer, and will do research for 20 pounds. You go on the end of the waiting line for this. When I was there in September 2000, I had to wait 8 weeks for the results, which they posted to me at home. It was worth the 20 pounds though! One of the parishes they found has not been filmed by the LDS, the other was. So I was able to do my own research at home for one of the parishes once I got the results. I would never have found any information on the other without going to the Heritage centre. Good luck. Leonie
