    3. Sorry I've been slow in replying, Mary. I included William Frith or Firth so as to copy the list exactly as it appears in the booklet I have. There are other entries giving the ages as "1" or "Infant", so your Frances should be there. Perhaps Ian Wynd's book will help when it appears. It did occur to me that the position of William Frith's name, which at least suggests that he was standing next in the queue, might have some relevance to the family, if Teek/Teck does. William Frith intrigues me, as Ezra FIRTH (who is listed as FRITH) was certainly on the Larpent, and owned land and a forge in Ceres village in the 1850s. One record of the Wesleyan Church there mentions a William Firth where it should say Ezra. They may have been related, but the names appear far apart in the Larpent list. I have a feeling that William Firth had some connection with the Connewarre area - can anyone enlighten me? Good hunting Marion
