    3. I have oodles of information on that family of Scotts. What did you want to know? There were two brothers and a sister (that I know of) who originally came from Wick, Caithness, Scotland. They were John, James and Jean. The Dimboola lot were children of John. James was a timber merchant and lived in Latrobe Terrace, and John had a large number of businesses and properties, both in Victoria and NSW. John died in 1887 and was the first in the large Scott grave (with the large obelisk) in the Eastern Cemetery. There are about twelve other family members in the grave, but not James or his family. Jean (Potter) is there, and my gg-grandmother, Mary Ann O'Shannassy. Let me know what else you want to know, and if you know of any connection between Scotts, and Curries, O'Shannassys, or Sidells, would you please let me know?
