I am interested in making contact with anyone who can help with the following:- In about 2001, direct descendants of James SILLETT (1764 - 1840), of the Norwich School of Artists fame, sold some lithographs to Norwich Museum/Art Gallery. The museum are unable to trace (for the moment) the person who made the sale. I know that a James William Sillett and his wife Sally Frary come to Australia in 1853 on the Welllington and raised a family in Geelong. James William might be a direct descendant of James the artist and if anyone has an interest in this family, I'd love to make contact to help fill in a few pieces of detail about the life of James and his family.
