    3. Ian, it is always welcome to post questions to mailing lists such as this when it relates to the actual list area. Often others have the same questions too or can learn from the advice. I suggest you list a couple of questions and the families you are looking for. You will get better results often if you can supply some details such as dates of birth death marriage, occupation etc about the person/s and what you want to know. These messages can even be searched by people in years to come so you never know when you may have a response.
