Has anyone every come across the name of O'Callaghan Photographers on their old family photographs ? I am trying to determine the origin of a photograph. I believe it was sent back to Ireland by some of our relatives who settled in the Geelong area. If anyone can confirm that this company existed, it would be an enormous help. Maria, came across a book some years ago of 1800 -1900 photographers in victoria. It listed where and when they operated, Maybe you could try the library, sorry not sure of the name. I looked at the state library index which lists one but not the one I think I saw. Hi Maria There are no O'Callaghan's listed in the book The Mechanical Eye in Australia - Photography 1841-1900 by Alan Davies & Peter Stanbury.
