Hi, I have just joined your subscriber list, and I would like to find some information on my 3rd & 4th Great Grandfathers, on how/why/when they came out to Australia from Ireland. Details as below: John Meehan B.1830 M.1856 D.1905 M. Johanna (Murphy) B.1834 D.1912 married Cappamore, Limerick, Ireland and lived in Geelong, both are buried at Eastern Cemetary (Roman Catholic section), Geelong, came over to Australia 1858+?, had 5 boys, all born in Geelong, his parents also came out to Australia, date unknown. Terence Meehan B.? M.1815 D.? M. Bridget (Doughey/Doherty) B.1793 D.1867 both are presumed to be buried also in the same grave as John & Johanna above.
