Hi Fellow listers. I am looking for newspaper articles on the Thursday 6th February 1851 Bush Fires that devastated the areas west of Geelong in 1851. I have an ancestor that lived in the area in 1851 Martin DENT & the article mentions him & Mr Rawlings farm & Lake Colac. I also believe that an article appeared in an English magazine of Charles Dickens "Household Words" in March 1851 about this Bush Fire. If you could help me to locate the articles I will be grateful.
